Europe has agreed upon a common 750-billion-euro ($910 billion) recovery fund. However, with the fiscal policy in place, the actual spending is still stagnant due to proposals still not accepted to help rebuild the economy (EU, 2021). In combination to this recovery fund, the EU decided upon a combined 1.1 trillion-euro multi-year budget, the largest stimulus in the European history, which is focused on helping development until 2027. With the recent resurgent of a new wave in Central Europe, but the rolling out of vaccines, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but still many macro-economic worries exist.
